The Residence Inn is one block from the Marriott Hotel. Unlike the other hotels, it provides complimentary full breakfast and free Internet access. It's right on the subway line to Harvard Square and Boston. Kendall Square, has shops and restaurants and is central to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). If you've heard of Frank Gehry, the architect, one of his buildings is a couple of blocks away, and can be easily visited.
